| Welcome to The A.T.T.I.C.! (All Teens
Together in Christ) The youth of Ninety Six First Baptist Church are
dedicated to whole-hearted worship of God, developing stronger spiritual
walks with Christ, investing in relationships that bring others closer
to Christ, serving the church, reaching out into the community, and
impacting the world. We will accomplish these goals through focusing on
six key areas: evangelism, discipleship, fellowship, ministry, worship,
and church leadership. Evangelism Our mission is to equip our students to be able to go into their schools, families, and peer groups, and be able to share the good news of Jesus to the world. Dicipleship We want our students to be well-educated individuals who value reading and studying scripture. We seek to develop Christian leaders in our world who can “test and approve what God’s will is – his good, pleasing, and perfect will (Romans 12:2).” Fellowship We never cease to have fun in fellowship opportunities in our group. Ministry “In the same way, faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead. But someone will say, ‘You have faith; I have deeds.’ Show me your faith without deeds, and I will show you my faith by what I do (James 2:17-18).” Our youth gain a greater understanding of this passage and its concept in opportunities to serve each other, the church, the community, the state, the nation, and the world. Worship “Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks. God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in spirit and in truth (John 4:23-24).” Ninety Six FBC youth are encouraged to practice worship daily in their lives and weekly as a group. We view worship as a lifestyle, not an event. Church Leadership Our youth are encouraged to step up into leadership roles in church-wide worship, committees, and events. We encourage our students to take 1 Timothy 4:12 to heart, and equip them with tools to be the leaders of the church both today and tomorrow.
